Ramón Oliveras (he/none)
I’m a Swiss musician, producer and Somatic Sex Educator currently living in Zurich. As a queer artist I aspire to question norms, use my privileges to help promote community and hold space for experience and pleasure. I’m part of the internationally recognised indie groove quintet Ikarus, of the queer indie rock trio Cutecumber (fka Dalai Puma) and a ritual performance-duo with Kim de l’Horizon. These projects and my drum solo piece exploring the non-dualistic state of life/death, reflect my philosophy: “It’s not our revolution if we can’t dance!”
My enthusiasm for exploration is one of my core traits and extends to numerous side projects, including producing music for theatre, dance and other music artists, being a member of SÄPT (Swiss doctors association for psycholitic therapy) and playing the Japanese zen bamboo flute Shakuhachi. I’m very passioned in linking activism and the music business, and also coaching other artists. I studied jazz drumming and later classical contemporary composition, both at the Zurich University of Arts.

Ich bin Musiker, Producer und Somatischer Sexual Therapeut aus Zürich. Mit meiner Arbeit möchte ich Normen hinterfragen, mein Privileg nutzen um Gemeinschaft zu fördern und Raum für Erfahrungen und Pleasure halten. Ich bin Teil des Indie-Rock-Trios Cutecumber (fka Dalai Puma), des Indie-Groove Quintetts Ikarus und eines Ritual-Performance-Duo mit Kim de l’Horizon. Diese Projekte und mein Drumsolo-Stück, das sich mit dem nicht-dualistischen Zustand von Leben/Tod auseinandersetzt, spiegeln meine Philosophie wider: “It’s not our revolution if we can’t dance!”
Neugierde ist einer meiner Kerneigenschaften, weshalb ich in zahlreichen Nebenprojekten mitarbeite. Dazu gehört das Produzieren für Theater, Tanz oder andere Musikschaffende, meine Mitgliedschaft bei der SÄPT (Schweizerische Ärztegesellschaft für psycholytische Therapie) und das Spielen der Japanische Zen-Bambusflöte Shakuhachi. Ausserdem liegt mir die Verknüpfung von Aktivismus und Musikbusiness sehr am Herzen, und ich coache Künstler*innen. Ich habe Jazzschlagzeug und später klassische zeitgenössische Komposition studiert, beides an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.
